Dr. Sheren Elsaid
Dr. Sheren Elsaid spent her childhood moving between the United States and Egypt before returning Stateside for good when she was in the 8th grade. Throughout her childhood, she was sure she wanted to be a physician. She began taking pre-med classes and received her bachelor’s in psychology from CUNY Hunter College. Soon after, Dr. Elsaid began volunteering at a local hospital and realized that while she loved the medical field, being a physician was not for her.
Why Did You Want to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Elsaid has a particular passion for cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry, helping patients achieve natural, confident smiles through treatments such as Invisalign, resin and porcelain veneers, full mouth rehabilitation, and professional teeth whitening. Her approach is highly personalized; combining advanced technology with a deep understanding of facial harmony, proportion, and balance to create results that are both beautiful and functional.
Patients value her for both her clinical precision and her warm, approachable nature. She takes pride in helping even the most anxious patients feel comfortable and at ease, creating a supportive environment where care is tailored to each individual’s needs and goals. Her philosophy centers on education, transparency, and empowering patients to make confident, informed decisions about their oral health.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from CUNY Hunter College before pursuing her dental education at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. She further refined her clinical skills through an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency with NYU Langone Dental Medicine, where she developed a comprehensive approach to restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
Committed to excellence and continuous growth, Dr. Elsaid earned her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) in 2025; an honor achieved by only a small percentage of dentists nationwide (approximately 6%). She is also an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, reflecting her dedication to staying at the forefront of modern cosmetic dentistry and smile design.
