These impressions are sent over to a lab that will fabricate tailor-made whitening trays based on your impressions. With precisely made trays that fit perfectly over your teeth and don’t run over your gums, this prevents the whitening gel from irritating your mouth’s soft tissues.
Once your trays have been fabricated and returned to our office, you’ll pick them up and begin your treatment at home. The gel will be applied to the inside of your trays and placed over your teeth.
Because the peroxide is formulated at a lower concentration, it needs to be used for a longer duration to achieve comparable results to in-office whitening. You will need to wear your trays each day as instructed for up to 2 weeks.
